The thematic routes are itineraries designed for a new way of walking, between the history of the path of the Gothic Line, the path of biodiversity, photographic hunting, the path Nature for all accessible by disabled, the path of the ancient Seccatoi near the Badia of Moscheta and the Naturalistic and Historical path of Casa d’Erci.

“Gothic Toscana Aps” was founded in 2006, is an association that deals with recent history linked to the Second World War and in particular the events of the Gothic Line in Tuscany. The Passo of Giogo, which is part of the territory of our Municipality and the surrounding areas, have been the scene of clashes between the Allies and the German Troops. The research activities are both in the field with the census of the stations and installations still identifiable and in some cases to their restoration, both archival and recovery of oral memory with the “interviews” to the people who still remember the events of those years.
