The great massif of Pratomagno extends mainly over the Province of Arezzo, but with its northernmost part (Vallombrosa area) also creeps into the Province of Florence. Geographically the mountain divides the Casentino from the Upper Valdarno and from every point of its ridge it is possible to observe both these valleys. Casentino and Valdarno divided, but at the same time united by the Pratomagno. There are several paths that since the Middle Ages crossed the massif joining these two lands, the first washed by the Arno.

From the idea of three young people with different work experiences, the “Cooperativa In Quiete” was born in January 2014. Environmental guides, educators, communicators, forest doctors: many different training paths for each of us, combined in a single bet on professionalism, about passion, about friendship. A goal, believe and invest in responsible and sustainable tourism for the paths of the Apennines, as well as environmental education in schools for the future of the new generations, all combined by a deep spirit of enhancement of nature and the historical and cultural traditions of the area. The name comes from a live album, recorded when we were still children, that we have in common and that has seen us grow… a name that although distant between us has united us in the wake of common passions and interests.

Get ready to wade the stream, to adapt to the surrounding environment using arms and legs to continue and, in case of high external temperatures, to dive into the fresh and crystalline waters of the Apennines. The ideal escape from the oppressive summer heat of the cities.
