The “Castello del Capitano delle Artiglierie” rises in the gentle hilly landscape of the Tosco-Romagnolo Preappennino, near the thermal baths of Castrocaro, in the hinterland of the Adriatic Riviera. It is an integral part of the fortress city of Terra del Sole, a rare example of an ideal city, perfectly preserved, built by order of Cosimo I de’ Medici in 1564 by Baldassarre Lanci.

The Castle was born as a military structure, today is presented to its visitors as a manor with halls with wooden ceilings or enriched by frescoes by Felice Giani, where you can enjoy, immersed in an atmosphere of ancient charm, gastronomic specialties and fine Tuscan winesromagnoli.

The galleries where there were once the guard posts, today are used for events, conferences and conferences, while from the large terrace overlooking the lush park, guests of the suite can contemplate the starry mantle with the moon that illuminates the hills.
