The village of Pontassieve is located at the confluence of the river Arno and the river Sieve, surrounded by the typical landscapes of the Tuscan countryside, an alternation of hills covered with vineyards and olive groves and dotted with churches, castles and farms. As shown by numerous archaeological finds, the territory in the past was inhabited by the Etruscans and the Romans. It is however in the Middle Ages that the place acquires importance and prestige, especially for its strategic position, and it is here that, in 1357, the Florentines decided to build a fortress, called Castel Sant’Angelo, the original name of the village.

The restoration of buildings and history of this testimony of rural life today allows I Veroni to host friends and customers in nine cozy and refined farmhouse apartments immersed in a charming and unique Tuscan landscape dominated by the vineyards of Chianti Rufina, secular olive groves and hills of cypresses, oaks and oaks.
