The Val di Sieve preserves what has been declared the Natural Biogenetic Reserve with inside the Abbey of Vallombrosa as well as the National Park of the Casentino Forests and the Sant’Antonio Forest. Participating in the village fairs you can taste typical products and enter even more in the atmosphere of these places. The Gold Toscanello is the festival of wine and local culture in the historic center of Pontassieve and the Festival of Tortello, Sausage and Bardiccio of Pelago.

Located on top of the hills of Montefiesole, about 20 km from Florence, “Fattoria Lavacchio” is located in the heart of the Chianti Rufina region. The estate has more than one hundred and fifteen hectares, twenty-four of which are dedicated to vineyards and fifty-six olive groves, while the rest is dedicated to woods, truffles, wheat and vegetable garden.
