The station of Fornello, a small town above Gattaia in the municipality of Vicchio, located on the railway line between Borgo San Lorenzo and Marradi; served, in addition to the inhabitants of the area, miners to reach a mine here once active, as well as transport the material downstream. This station has lived moments of glory, but now it is in complete decay.
