The Tuscan-Romagna Apennines is a subdivision of the chain of the Apennines or a stretch of the northern Apennines, involving Romagna, Tuscany, the Republic of San Marino and the northern parts of Marche and Umbria. The highest peak is Mount Falco with its 1,658 meters above sea level. It is home to several protected natural areas including the National Park of the Casentino Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna and the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Regional Natural Park.
